Article 3 The centralized air-conditioning and ventilation system in public places (hereinafter referred to as the central air-conditioning and ventilation system) shall meet the requirements of the "Sanitary Specifications for Centralized Air-conditioning and Ventilation Systems in Public Places" and the requirements of relevant sanitation standards.

The operator of a public place shall take measures to ensure that the centralized air-conditioning and ventilation system of the place meets the requirements of the preceding paragraph.

Article 6 The centralized air-conditioning and ventilation system shall have the following facilities:

(1) Devices for emergency shutdown of return air and fresh air;

(2) Devices for controlling the sub-regional operation of the air-conditioning system;

(3) Air purification and disinfection devices;

(4) Openable and closable windows for cleaning and disinfection of the air duct system.

Article 7 The newly built, reconstructed and expanded central air conditioning and ventilation systems shall undergo hygienic evaluation for the prevention of airborne diseases, and can be put into operation only after the evaluation is passed.

The central air-conditioning and ventilation system that has been put into operation shall undergo a hygienic evaluation for the prevention of airborne diseases every two years, and can continue to operate after the evaluation is passed.

The hygienic evaluation shall comply with the provisions of the "Specifications for Hygienic Evaluation of Central Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems in Public Places".

Article 19 The meanings of the terms in these Measures are as follows:
